Standing on this tee, you will think that clearing the water is impossible. A creek runs in front of and up the entire right side of this fairway with most shots naturally bouncing towards trouble, making for an exceptional challenge off the tee. The hole moves slightly to the right and is all uphill making this picturesque par-5 a challenge. Trying to reach it in two will be tough as the green is protected by a pond on the right side and a bunker on the left. This hole is a good par five from start to finish and a great way to finish your round.
Course Overview: Chariot Run is a links style, equestrian themed golf course that offers four sets of tees for every playing ability. Each hole is named for ancient Roman themes like Roman’s Release and Caesar’s Revenge. The course offers over 7,000 yards of bent grass greens, tees and fairways making for a pleasurable playing experience. There is also a 5,000 square-foot clubhouse with a fully stocked golf shop, restaurant and bar, and rooms to host corporate events.

Course Overview: The Links at Grand Victoria Casino is Southern Indiana’s only true Scottish links-style golf course. This Tim Liddy-designed gem features gently rolling bent grass fairways and greens nestled among traditional long waste bunkers, winding lakes and heather rough. Many holes boast panoramic views of the Ohio River Valley.

With several newly expanded tee boxes, you can play the tees most appropriate to your game (5,600 yards from the front tees or 6,800 yards from the “tips.”) Be sure to ask about the new GPS equipped carts, they are a definite help. Before or after your round, peruse the fully stocked pro shop, take advantage of locker room and shower facilities, grab a bite from the snack bar or just relax on the spacious covered patio.

An elongated green can mean up to a three club variation from the tee and leaves minimal room for error left or right.

In addition to the spacious plantation club house, a Hilton Garden Inn will open on the property in the near future, making both courses ideal for business retreat meetings. Like its sister course, The Oaks has no official signature hole but the par-3 17th is unusual as it is guarded in front by a menacing rock rampart that has rejected many a ball on what appears to be an easy shot.

Course Overview: Described by many as “heaven on earth,” Fallen Oak is a $40 million golfer’s paradise. Recognized by Golf Magazine as one of the Top 10 New Courses in 2006, every hole on the 510-acre course is another masterpiece of world-renowned designer Tom Fazio. Stretching almost 7,500 yards, this course is exclusively available for the guests of Beau Rivage and features a SubAir drainage system which vacuums moisture out of the greens, providing an optimal environment. This drainage system is also found on courses such as Augusta National in Georgia and Harbor Town in Hilton Head, South Carolina.
